We Met at the Cadillac in Visalia in early 2002.  Miranda was a waitress, and Rick was a patron.  We had mutual friends, but the attraction was instant on both sides.  It took a couple of months before we actually began to really talk to each other, but many of our close friends already knew we were interested.

We began dating in June of 2002, and were inseparable.  We were engaged a few months later.  Miranda called Rick up and told him she hoped he was serious about wanting to get married because she had just bought a dress.  Rick officially proposed on the pier at Pismo Beach a few weeks later, and the rest is history.
